to Bhagawati Jwalamukhi,where eternal flames rep[resent the deity Jwalamukhi
(The Flaming Goddess). Jwalamukhi is recognized as one of the 51 Shaktipeeths
of India, Jwalamukhi's Devi Temple, tended by the followers of Goraknath. Chintpurni Temple: A winding road goes up to the temple dedicated to Bhagwati Chinmastika or Goddess Chintpurni – the goddess who grants all wishes. 7th Day : - Paragpur - Naina Devi Temple - Nalagarh
Naina Devi Temple: This is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. According to a belief, once shiva’s consort Sati, died to avenge an insult. The distranged Shiva picked up her corpse and gyrated in his horrific dance of destruction. Then Vishnu, the preserver, unleashed his Chakra and cut the body into 51 pieces to save the earth from Shiva’s warth. Naina Devi , is where Sati’s eye are believed to have fallen. 8th Day : - Nalagarh - Chandigarh (Visit Mansa
Devi Temple) City Information: The city of Chandigarh is dotted with several beautiful and well-maintained gardens. Thegardens at Chandigarh the Rose Garden and the Rock Garden should not be missed. For recreation you may stroll or boat at the Sukhna Lake. You may even visit the old temple dedicated to the Goddess Chandi. The city of Chandigarh derives its name from Her. Mansa Devi Temple: An example of North Indian architecture Mansa Devi Temple, lying in Bilaspur village, 3 km. east of Mani Majra in Chandigarh, has two temples dedicated to the goddess. It is believed that the older temple was built by the ruler of Mani Majra. 9th Day :- Chandigarh - Delhi.
