Day 1: Delhi
The North India pilgrimage tour begins after your arrival at Delhi. You will be received by our agent on airport or railway station and enjoy smooth transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Depending upon the time of the arrival you can utilize that day for Delhi evening sightseeing like India Gate and Connaught Place. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Delhi sightseeing
After breakfast whole day will be spent touring Delhi. The major attractions you will see are Akshardham Temple, India Gate, Parliament House, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, QutabMinar, Humayun’s Tomb, Jama Masjid and famous ChandaniChowk. Return back to hotel and have a comfortable stay.
Day 3: Delhi-Varanasi (815 km)
You will board an early morning flight to reach Varanasi. After arriving Varanasi, check-in the hotel. After refreshments excursion to Sarnath, a very famous Buddhist place at the distance of 11.5 km away from Varanasi and pulls the tourists and specially Buddhists pilgrims here. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 4: Varanasi
Get up early to take blessings of KashiVishwanath (one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva), enjoy boat ride on famous Assi Ghats of Varanasi. If you wish plan a trip to Vindhyachal Devi, it is located on the distance of 64 km from Varanasi. Later return in evening and attend the Aarti on the bank of the holy river Ganges, the most beautiful and spiritual moment of the tour. Later retire to hotel and have a relaxing night.
Day 5: Varanasi – Allahabad (125 Km)
By road reach Allahabad and check-in hotel have lunch and buck up to tour Allahabad. You will see Ashoka Pillar, famous Allahabad Fort, Patalpuri Temple, Akshya Vat and you must take the holy dip at Sangam famously called as Triveni (a point where three holy rivers mingle Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati). If you are visiting during KumbhMela (holy month of spiritual bathing and performing customs in Hindu, the fair is held after 12 years) then you are very lucky to see the one of the biggest and longest running fair in India. Return back to hotel and have comfortable stay overnight.
Day 6: Allahabad- Ayodhya – Lucknow(167 km and 134 km respectively)
In the morning, after breakfast set off early to reach Ayodhya by road, Ayodhaya is the most famous and highly spiritual importance pilgrimage place for Hindus, your Ayodhya tour begins by visiting the holy shrine of “Ram Lalla” the Ram Janmabhumi, the birthplace of Lord Rama. You will visitKanakBhavan Temple,Kala Ram Temple, LakshmanGhat and see Jain holy temples. In the evening travel by road to reach Lucknow and check-in hotel for comfortable and relaxing stay in a hotel.
Day 7: Lucknow – Agra (368 km)
After breakfast buck up to see “NawabonkiNagri,”Lucknow, the city is well known for its “Tehzeeb”, the mannerism.. You will see Lucknow Residency, Jama Masjid, Bara Imambara, ChhotaImambara, Rumi Darwaza, Clock Tower and Hussainibad picture gallery. In the evening, you will travel by train to reach Agra.
Day 8: Agra
On arrival at Agra railway station, proceed to the hotel. Spend the morning in doing leisure activities. Post lunch, covering Red Fort , also known as Agra fort. Later in the day, you will visit the Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb, popular for its design elephants that overshadow the Taj. Spend night in hotel..
Day 9: Agra-Delhi – (226 km and en-route Mathura)
After breakfast plan a visit to TajMahal, the famous monument built of white marble, one of its kind, regarded as epitome of love built by emperor Shah Jahan in the memory ofhis beloved wife Mumtaj. Later drive to Delhi. En-route, you will have a stopover at Mathura, the birth place of Lord Krishna and Vrindavan; the place where Lord Rama spent his childhood and did all Leelas. Reach Delhi and have easy check in at the hotel for night stay.
Day 10: Delhi -Rishikesh(230 km, en-route Haridwar)
In the morning reach Rishikesh by road. En-route visit Haridwar. Experience the true spiritual environment here and visit famous temples likeMansa Devi temple,Chandi Devi temple, Gauri Shankar temple, Bharat Mata Mandir, Kankhal. In the evening, witness and participate in the spiritual and customary Aarti on the Har-ki-Pauri. Reach Rishikesh after Haridwar visit and overnight stay is planned in Rishikesh.
Day 11: Rishikesh
After breakfast, visit famous Ashram and Temples of Rishikesh. Also enjoy a visit to Ram Jhula and LaxmanJhula (iron suspension bridge) and monkeys around there. Attend evening Aarti on the banks of the holy river Ganga. Have a comfortable stay overnight.
Day 12: Delhi (230 km)
In the morning, leave for Delhi by road and check in hotel. You can spend the day by visiting the places that have not been toured earlier. Plan shopping in different markets, and later retire to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13: Delhi
This day your North India pilgrimage tour comes to a halt and you will be transferred to Delhi International airport to board a flight to reach another destination.
