Day 2: Delhi
After breakfast buck up for the enjoyable sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit the 17th century walled city with its wonderful gates, narrow maze alleys, the famous old ChnadaniChowk Bazaar. Also see Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat. New Delhi with wide greenery avenues, parks and fountains around government and state Buildings. Visit Humayun’s Tomb, JantarMantar, QutabMinar, India Gate and President Houseand Lotus Temple. Overnight have comfortable stay at Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi – Agra – Varanasi (815 km)
Leave Delhi for Agra by road its approximately 238 km. Experience the euphoria of exploring the world’s most famous monument TajMahal, Agra Fort and later board train from Agra to Varanasi after overnight journey reach Varanasi and check in hotel and have comfortable stay.

Day 4: Varanasi – Sarnath– Varanasi

Day 5: Varanasi – Bodhgaya(242 km)

Day 6: BodhgayaSightseeing

Day 7: Bodhgaya – Rajgir – Nalanda– Patna (175 km)
Early morning leave Bodhgaya for Patna on the way visit famous placesRajgir&Nalanda. Patna earlier called as Pataliputra is 2500 year old capital of Bihar. Rajgir was capital of Magadha Empire in 6th century and has witnessed Buddha’s discourses. Visit the remains of 5thcentury old Nalandaworld’s oldest university. Overnight stay is at hotel in Patna.
Day 8: Patna – Vaishali–Kushinagar (253 km)

Day 9: Kushinagar – Lumbini –Sravasti (170 km and 225 km respectively)
Leave Kushinagar by road for Lumbini the birthplace of Buddha and is couple of distance from India border to Nepal. See the wonderful historical places associated with the life of Gautam Buddha and leave for Sravasti. On arrival check-in to hotel and have comfortable overnight stay in hotel.
Day l0: Saravasti – Sahet&Mahet – Lucknow– Delhi
Early morning visit to Sahet&Mahet.This town has great importance with the life of Gautama Buddha, and here Lord Buddha has spent 24 Chaturmases (24 Monsoons).Centuries old stupa, beautiful viharas and several temples near the village of “Sahet-Mahet” establish Buddha’s association with Shravasti. Great tales are associated with Shravasti. Evening reach Lucknow Railway Station and travel overnight by train to reach Delhi early morning.
Day 11: Delhi Departure
Arrive Delhi in morning, if you wish you can plan a same day city tour or just relax in hotel and later board flight for onward destination.
