Day1: Delhi Arrival
The Foot step of Buddha Tour begins after arriving Delhi. Our special tour agent will greet you and help in smooth transfer to hotel for overnight stay. Evening is at your leisure and you can spend hoping around the Connaught Place and enjoy the city bustle and try some famous restaurants for pleasure of taste buds.

Day 2: Delhi-Agra (165 km)
After breakfast morning reach to Agra and check-in at pre-booked hotel. Later visit the world famous TajMahal( a famous edifice of marble) and visit Agra Fort. Overnight stay is planned in Agra.

Day 3: Agra-Lucknow (365 km)
After a long driveyou will reach Lucknow, (The NawabonkaSeher) and on the way to Lucknow, Sankasia will be visited. This ancient city is known for Stupas and one of the famous Pillars of Ashoka was built after Mhaparnirvana of Gautam Buddha came into prominence at the time of Gautama Buddha.  After the Gautama Buddha’s Mahaparinirvana (passing away) king Ashoka developed this place and installed one of his famous Pillars of Ashoka in the city, from which the elephant capital survives.  A stupa was built commemorating the visit of the Buddha. This temple remains are still there which is called as VishariDevi, she was mother of Gautam Buddha. After visiting the relics of such olden times continue to NawabonkaSeher- Lucknow. Later, check-in at Hotel.

Day 4: Lucknow – Varanasi (319 km)
After breakfast, you will move for Varanasi by car. After reaching Varanasi, check in pre-booked hotel and afterwards if you wish you can visit local market or famous temple of KashiVishwanath (Lord Shiva Temple). Overnight stay is Varanasi.

Day 5: Varanasi
Early morning after breakfast, you will have lovely spiritual moment of visiting famous Ghats of Varanasi. The Holy River Ganges have great place in India, hence people bath and pray and feel free from any burden. You will enjoy boat ride and see while sailing famous Ghats of Kings of that time. Subsequently visit Sarnath, the most important place for Buddishts as here only Guatam Buddha delivered his most famous first sermons.Afternoon if you wish you can go to Vindhyachal,  aholy shrine of Goddess Durga and this temple is very old and has great importance for Hindus. Overnight stay is in hotel.

Day 6: Varanasi– Bodhgaya (243km)
After breakfast, you will be driven to Bodhgaya and after reaching this important place of Buddishts religion check in hotel and have relaxing night.

Day 7: Bodhgaya
In the morning your tour to most famous place Gaya and check in hotel, later to seeMahabodhi Temple & Bodhi Tree, Great Buddha Statue, Niranjana River, Sujata Temple – which is across the Niranja river will be seen. You evisit will be very memorable as you will see many monasteries, stupas, pagodas and the serene atmosphere, where Buddhists Monks are chanting hymns, and colourful rosary beads in their hands, sweet sound of tolling bells, you will forget about outer world, it is really very peaceful and mesmerizing place. Overnight you will have comfortable stay at Bodhgaya.

Day 8: Bodhgaya-Rajgir-Nalanada-Bodhgaya (220 km)
In the morning the other major places of Buddhists importance will be covered and you will enjoy excursion to Rajgir and visit spots like Vulture Hill, Famous World Peace Stupa, lovelyBamboo’s Garden. Subsequently continue to Nalanda to visit the ruins and relics of one of the world oldest University. These places have great untold stories and later return drive to Bodhgaya & check-in at Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 9: Bodhgaya- Vaishali – Kushinagar (376 km)
After having breakfast pack forKushinagarand on the way Vaishaliwill be toured.Vasihali has great importance for Buddhists as Lord Buddha frequently visited Vaishaliand Kolhua, and here Lord Buddha, preached his last sermon.To commemorate this great event, Emperor Ashoka, erected one of his famous lion pillars here in 3 B.C.Another great thing about Vasihali is that Jainism, too, has its origin  in 527 B.C., Lord Mahavir was born in Pawapuri. After day long touring reach Kushinagar and check in hotel for overnight halt.

Day 10: Kushinagar – Lumbini(168 km)
After breakfast half day excursion of Kushinagar, you will view Mahaparinirwana Temple (where Buddha breathe last) and Rambhar Stupa (place where  lord Buddha cremated), Japan Temple. Afternoon drive to Lumbini, it is a small place with great historical importance in Nepal. You will have little formality on India – Nepal border for immigration clearance.Later check-in at pre-booked hotel. At noon visit Lumbini, the Birth place of Lord Buddha. Overnight stay is planned at Lumbini.

Day 11: Lumbini-Kaplivastu-Sravasti (199.4 km)
After breakfast leave for Sravasti, on the way visit Kapilavastu – Buddha’s childhood place& also visit ruins and relics of the Palaces. Subsequently, drive to Sravastiand check-in at hotel. Later tour Sravasti, the place where Buddha spent his 24 monsoons, visitsfamous Jetvana and Ananda Bodhi Tree. Overnight stay is planned at Sravasti.

Day 12: Sravasti–Lucknow-Delhi (619 km)
After breakfast you will be driven to Delhi and as journey is long you will have small break in Lucknow for meals and continue the remaining journey by train and reach Delhi. You will be transferred to hotel as you reach and have comfortable stay overnight.

Day 13: Delhi Departure
After breakfast visit the capital of Delhi. The major tourists’ attractions are Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Lakshmi Narayan temple, Gandhi Museum. Drive past India Gate, Presidents’ house “RashtrapatiBawan”, the Government buildings and the Parliament house. After whole day tour, later you will be dropped at Airport to catch flight for onward destination.
