History:
India is the birthplace of LORD Gautam Buddha , the founder of Buddhism.
The four holy places associated with Gautam Buddha in India are
- Lumbini, his birthplace, which now lies in Nepal; Bodhgaya, where
he attained enlightenment; Sarnath, near Varanasi, where he preached
his first sermon; Kushinagar, near Gorakhpur, where he achieved
Mahanirvana. The other important tourist places associated with
Buddhism are: Sanchi, Vaishali, Nalanda, Amravati and Nagargunakonda.
All these places together are known as the famous Buddhist circuit
in India.
Bodhgaya is the most
important Buddhist pilgrimage amongst all these places in India.
It is a significant archaeological site and also renowned for the
Mahabodhi Temple, which houses a 50 metre high pyramidal spire and
an image of the Buddha.
Sarnath near Varanasi
is an important center of the Buddhist world where he delivered
his first sermon and set in motion the wheel of law, the Dharmachakra.
Buddhism germinated in Sarnath .
Nalanda is the famous education center of Buddhism
where the Chinese scholar and traveller Hiuen Tsang stayed in the
7th century to study Buddhism. |

On arrival we receive you from Air port or Rail Station and transfer
to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi - Jaipur :
After break fast , Drive for Jaipur . Afternoon : Arrive Jaipur
check into the hotel and Excursion tour of Amber Fort with Elephant
ride. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 : Jaipur Full day Sight Seeing
: covering City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar
& Museum. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4 : Jaipur- Agra :
After break fast , Drive to Agra enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri.
Arrive Agra, check into the hotel. There after proceed for city
tour covering Taj Mahal and the Fort. Overnight stay.
Day 5 : Agra - Patna :
Morning : Visit Taj Mahal , Agra Fort & Sikandra. In Evening
: Departure transfer at Tundla Rail Station to board in the overnight
train for Patna. Overnight in train.
Day 6 : After arrival at Patna rail
Station in morning : Transfer
from Railway station to hotel, check into the hotel. After breakfast
proceed for full day sight sight-seeing,covering Goal Ghar, Stupa
of Buddha, Temple and old city. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7 : Patna – Nalanda –
Rajgir – Bodhgaya : After breakfast in early
morning drive to Bodhgaya enroute sight seeing of Nalanda and
Rajgir visiting Gridhkut Peak etc. Than proceed for Bodhgaya on
arrival Bodhgaya check into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8 : Bodhgaya :
Morning visit Sujata Village. Afternoon visit Mahabodhi Temple,
Bodhi Tree and Tibetan Monastery. Overnight stay.
Day 9 : Bodhgaya – Varanasi
: After breakfast drive to Varanasi. On arrival
varanasi check into the hotel & sight-seeing of Sarnath Temple.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10 : Varanasi – Kushinagar
- Gorakhpur : After Breakfast at hotel drive to
Kushinagar and on arrival visit MAHAPARINIRVANA PLACE on "
The Cremation Centre of Lord Budha. Then drive back to Gorakhpur
on arrival in Gorakhpur check into hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11 : Gorakhpur – Lumbini
– Balrampur : After Breakfast at hotel drive
to Lumbini on arrival Lumbini. Visit the Birth Place of LORD-BUDDHA.
drive to Balrampur on arrival Balrampur check into the hotel for
night stay.
Day 12 : Balrampur – Lucknow
: After breakfast at hotel drive for sight seeing
of Sravasti visit Saheth & Maheth and back to Balrampur &
then drive to Lucknow. On arrival in Lucknow check into the hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 13 :
Lucknow - Delhi :
After breakfast at hotel drive for sight seeing of city. Afternoon
transfer to the Airport to board in a flight for Delhi. Upon arrival
in Delhi transfer to the city, evening free at Leisure and also
transfer to the airport to board in a flight for next destination.
Day 14 : Delhi :
Delhi City tour Old & New Delhi covering, Red Fort, Jama Masjid,
Raj Ghat, Shantivan, Laxmi Narayan Temple, National Museum, India
Gate, President House, Parliament House, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple
& Humayun's Tomb.
Evening
free at Leisure and also transfer to the airport to board in a
flight for next destination.

Tour
“ Explore India” – the Foot Steps OF LORD BUDDHA
encompasses visiting places that still echo with the sacred chants
of Buddhism. The teachings of Buddha emphasized peace, meditation
and universal harmony. A visit to the holy river Ganges is also
a part of the tour. This religious circuit is ideal for those

Day 1 : Arrival
New Delhi.
On arrival we receive you from Air port or Rail Station and transfer

Day 2 : Delhi -
Lucknow -
Balrampur Morning : transfer to the airport to
board flight for Lucknow. Arrive at Lucknow and drive to Balrampur,
enroute visit Sravasti site of the Great Miracle performed by
Buddha. Overnight stay at Hotel .
Day 3 : Balrampur

Lumbini -
Gorakhpur : After break fast in Morning , drive
for Lumbini, Arrive Lumbini and cover city tour of Ashoka Stupa,
Ruins of Lumbini & the Birth Place of LORD BUDDHA. Afternoon
Drive for Gorakhpur. Arrive and check into the hotel. Overnight
stay.
Day 4 : Gorakhpur

Varanasi : After break fast in Morning , drive
for Varanasi enroute sight-seeing of Sarnath where Lord Buddha
preached his first Sermon. Arrive Varanasi, check into the hotel
for overnight stay.
Day 5 : Varanasi

Bodhgaya : In early morning excursion on the Holy
River Ganges by boat followed the city tour of Varanasi. Afternoon
: drive for Bodhgaya, arrive Bodhgaya. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6 : Bodhgaya

Rajgir Morning : The sight-seeing of Bodhgaya
covering
Madhbodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Tibetian Monastery and then drive
for Rajgir enroute Nalanda
Sight-seeing of Nalanda to view the Great Stupa and Archaeological
Museum. By evening drive to Rajgir. On arrival Rajgir check into
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7 : Rajgir :
Sight Seeing of Rajgir visit the Ajatashatru's
Fort . Evening relaxed . Over night at Hotel.
Day 8 : Patna-Calcutta
: Drive for Patna. Sight Seeing of Patna visit
Goal Ghar, Stupa of Buddha. Afternoon transfer to airport to board
flight for Calcutta. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight
stay.
Day 9 : Calcutta
Full day city tour Covering Museum, Kali Mandir,
